We took the service of Malatech for optimizing the effluent parameters of our SBR reactors treating our wastewater from fish meal and oil processing. Our microbiology has been struggling with numerous problems due to the nature of our raw wastewater, and all has been addressed by the cooperation with Malatech. We appreciated, and found unique that such an amount of biological problems was ironed out successfully without an onsite visit ever, by only online communication with Malatech with the company being thousands of kilometres away from us. We just continuously shared our data, and took the advices coming from Malatech
Initially we started to work with Malatech in 2016 to apply their biotechnology for the reduction of operational costs of 2 of our wastewater treatment plants UASB + activated sludge treatment both. Our WWTP's treat industrial wastewater of bean, pea, and corn processing, and run seasonally. Based on the success of the products, we started consulting with Malatech for our daily operation as well. The results throughout the years brought massive savings in energy consumption, excess sludge dewatering and transportation, and chemical consumption. Tech support we received also worked perfectly, and quickly for troubleshooting when we had biology upsets, sedimentation issues, overloads.
Our company has established a long-term and successful cooperation with Malatech since 2013 for the optimization of our continuous flow and SBR biological units, and the tertiary treatment ponds treating 20 000 m3/d of chemical manufacturing industrial process wastewater. Our aims were handling shock, inhibitory, and toxic loads with stabilized biological treatment performance, optimizing activated sludge structure, lowering operational costs, and meeting with effluent parameters set by the authority continuously. We rely on Malatech's advices with trust during the operation of our WWTP complex whenever we hit any trouble.
Our municipal WWTP receives industrial wastewater from a food industry in high amount, concentration of pollutants, and toxic substances which has adversely affected the performance of our WWTP effluent. We opted to take the services of Malatech through its Slovakian distributor SanAqua, s.r.o., and with continuous cooperation we managed to stabilize our biology in 3 months, and we are running trouble-free since then.
We operate an activated sludge WWTP in Poland to treat our protein-processing industrial wastewater. Besides using the core technologies of Malatech for our AS, they helped us in restoring the biology whenever we had nitrification or settling issues due to overload or technical failures.
We manufacture protein products by processing dead animals. Our activated sludge WWTP has a massive load in terms of COD, Ammonium, and the load fluctuates depending on our seasons which can result malfunctions within the biology from time to time (nitrification, denitrification, Nitrite accumulation). We first contacted Malatech in 2009, since then we take their service, whenever we face issues with our biology. When a problem occurs, we are in daily contact with Malatech, and provide them our daily data, and so far, they supported our operation, and plant setup with advices that we managed to overcome the problems quickly.
We have an MBR bioreactor to treat the wastewater of plastic-recycling. We provide continuous data supply about our system to Malatech, in return we receive valuable tech support for our operation to deal with inhibitory, toxic loads, and keeping stable effluent parameters.
